Black History Month 2025

This February, the Northwest African American Museum hosted Coloring Outside the Lines, a month-long celebration of creativity, resilience and the trailblazing spirit in Black communities.

The Black History Month programming applauds the way Black artists, entrepreneurs, and leaders push industry and cultural boundaries and light a path for themselves and others in the face of systemic barriers. We had an exciting line up of events and exhibitions that honored Black art and ingenuity and left visitors energized and inspired to continue moving forward together.
